The Most Interesting Properties on Jitty This Week #5

đź‘‹ Hi friends,
Spring has sprung. Pastels, florals, rabbits. Ok, no rabbits this week, although we did try.
And yes, florals for spring? Groundbreaking. But give us a break, we’re basic. And anyway, who doesn’t love this time of year? We see you out there, runners snapping blossom selfies in the park every day.
Home of the week
This house in Brecon is unapologetically committed to Gothic Revival arches. It’s got the kind of vaulted hallways that make you walk slower with your shoulders back.
Nicknamed Strawberry Gothic after Strawberry Hill, it’s a colourful country house filled with unexpected flourishes that say, “yes, I did paint my staircase like that on purpose.”
Slow clap for hiring an A+ gardener.

Theme of the Week… Pastel Interiors
aka…soft on the eyes, bold on the vibes.
Some trends come and go. Others wait patiently on the walls of the spare bedroom until the world comes crawling back. Patterned wallpaper? It's back baby. Minimalism had a good run. This house in Melton never lost hope.
From the carpets to the curtains to the ceiling, this is an unflinching ode to florals. Why stop at a feature wall when you can have a feature everything taps temple?

This place in Tewkesbury is proof that blush tones and 400-year-old beams can peacefully coexist. It’s pastel, but not precious. Rustic, but not remotely dusty.
Someone here clearly committed to the pink. And, honestly, respect.
Bonus points for the ducks.

This spot in Southsea caught our eye with its bright kitchen and sun-drenched calm. Then we realised… it’s CGI.
Swipe and meet reality. Hey, no judgement here, don’t hate the player hate the game. And actually, if you squint hard enough you can kind of see a pastel paradise emerging.
Nope? Try squinting harder.
Harder…
No, harder…
This house in Butleigh is how it’s done. Warm tones, rough plaster, good beams. Ooh-arr, let’s all move to Somerset.

Plot Twist of the Week
This house in Bracknell has serious après-ski energy with that iconic Alpine-inspired BBQ hut. Holiday blues got ya down? Just pop out to the shed for another raclette. And who needs the Alps anyway when you’ve got the A329 on your doorstep?

Have a great week and thanks for reading,
