The Most Interesting Properties on Jitty This Week #6

Made by Jitty

👋 Hi friends,
It finally feels like the warm weather’s here and all we want is to be on holiday or lounging next to a pool. So this week, we’re celebrating the people who’ve made that dream a reality, with homes that come with their very own swimming spots. Bonus points for the extra touches we spotted along the way.

Home of the week

Ever wanted to swim out of your indoor spa into a sun-drenched Roman amphitheatre, then ponder the meaning of life beside a lily pond? Well, us neither, but now that we’ve seen it we want it.
If I was a rich celebrity with a cocaine habit, this spot in Canterbury is where I'd go to kick it. Sauna, cascading waterfalls, tennis court, it's got it all.
That TV is way too high though.

Theme of the Week… Homes with Natural Swimming Pools

aka…Holiday Mode: Permanently Enabled
This unassuming home in Hockley near Southend-on-Sea hides a serious brutalist man-cave beneath the surface. This underground lair meets leisure centre is apocalypse-ready. If society collapses, you’ll still be doing laps and drinking whiskey sours in peace.

This place in Gerrards Cross starts off looking like a serene Italianate villa with its manicured lawns and conservatory worthy of afternoon tea with minor aristocracy.
Then bam - a den with jukebox, pool table, projector and LED strip lighting. Minor aristocrats need to let loose too.

This sweet little house in Salisbury is kind of inspiring. Just because the house is small doesn’t mean the dreams have to be. Want a pool? Simply build one in your own wooden cabin.

We love this home in Great Yarmouth because they’ve literally built a boozer in their house. Wood paneling, purple carpet, full bar setup. What else can you say but bravo? We are not worthy.

Plot Twist of the Week

Behind a pretty but unassuming exterior in Camberwell lies the most outrageous interior we’ve ever seen. Every photo’s a banger. The vision it took to make this a reality is truly astounding. Jesus died for our sins and so we could one day make a house like this. OBSESSED.
