The Most Interesting Properties on Jitty This Week #4

Made by Jitty

đź‘‹ Hi friends,
We’ve got a fresh round-up of homes that could’ve strutted straight off the pages of Architectural Digest, if AD had a slightly weirder cousin with a thing for chairs that look like carbs.
This week’s theme is statement homes with that special somethang. Other than pasta chairs, we’ve got creepy dolls, courtyards that make us want to get into ceramics and lions keeping watch over the fireplace.
Let’s get into it.

Home of the week

Somewhere between a minimalist penthouse and a modern art museum, this riverfront pad in Battersea pulls off the rare feat of having both a mirrored pod lounge and a rainbow womb room. Torn between wanting to jump on everything and being absolutely terrified to touch anything.

Theme of the Week…Homes that belong in Architectural Digest Magazine

aka…homes with that special somethang.
Lion sculptures in the fireplace, Barbiecore hallway and a chair made out of pasta. What’s not to love about this flat.

From the front, it’s a Victorian family home. From the back, it’s Tokyo meets Copenhagen. Somewhere in the courtyard, it’s summer, you’ve made a salad and you’re thinking starting your own pottery Instagram account.

We know Crittall’s #trending, but these double-height arched doors are on a whole different level. Look at that velvet and marble fever dream of a kitchen. And the office deserves its own heritage listing. Swoon.

This East End home feels like an Ibiza eco-retreat. It’s all sun-baked curves, sculptural stairs and terracotta figurines that may or may not watch you sleep.

This sweet little Notting Hill flat is giving charm, character and a crash course in interior design contrasts. One minute it’s soft pleats, the next it’s mirrored walls. It’s a ride.

Plot Twist of the Week

This pretty barn in Bungay has all the rustic charm a person could need…until you clock what’s lurking in the corners. Come for the beams, stay for the creepy Victorian dolls.

Have a great week and thanks for reading,
