Hide Homes: Clear Out the Ones You've Already Ruled Out
Updates from the team behind Jitty - where we share what’s new in the product and the most interesting homes we’ve spotted along the way.

You know the one. The flat with the kitchen you couldn't live with. The house on the main road. You looked, you said no, and it's still at the top of your search every time you open it. Then it turns up again in the next alert email.
Now you can get rid of it.
Hide homes is a new Jitty feature that removes a home from your property searches. Tap the X next to Save and that home stops appearing in your search results, on the map and in your saved search alert emails. You can bring it back at any time.

How to hide a home on Jitty
- Sign in to Jitty.
- Tap the X next to Save. It's on every home in your search results, and at the top of each property page.
- The home fades out and says "Hidden from your searches". Tapped by mistake? Press Undo.
That's it. The next time you search, the home won't be there. Next to your results count you'll see how many homes you've hidden from that search, for example "· 2 hidden", so nothing goes missing without you knowing.
How to see or unhide your hidden homes
Every home you hide goes onto your Hidden homes page, under Your Collections in your account. Each one has an Unhide button.
Saving a hidden home also brings it back. Hiding a saved home removes it from your saved homes.
Why we built it
Looking for a home isn't one search. It's the same search, run again and again for weeks or months. Each time you come back, you have to scroll past the homes you've already ruled out before you get to anything new.
Save gave you a way to mark the homes you like. Until now there was nothing for the ones you don't. Hiding them leaves your search as a list of homes you haven't decided on yet, which is what it should have been all along.
Tell us why you hid it (optional)
After hiding a home you can tell us why: price, location, too small, layout, condition, photos, or anything in your own words. It's optional, and hiding stays one tap either way.
We use the answers to decide what to build next. If lots of people hide homes because there's no utility room, that's a filter we should add.
Start your search on Jitty and clear out the homes you've already ruled out.
