Bloy Street, Easton

We love the south facing garden with a hazel, crab apple, apple, service berry and a birch tree, and the sunny kitchen openign out into it. The kitchen is our favourite space to spend time with double doors out to the garden!

The home

A characterful two bedroom terrace on Bloy Street, in the heart of Easton, offering bright, sociable accommodation with real personality throughout. Bloy Street is home to many happy residents and a tree lined community play park.

Entrance is through a central hallway with stairs rising to the first floor. To the front, the living room is a warm, inviting space centred on a bay window that floods the room with natural light, with floor to ceiling shelving giving it a lovely, lived in feel.

To the rear, an open plan kitchen and dining room forms the heart of the home. French doors lead straight out to the garden, while the kitchen is fitted with light cabinetry, contrasting worktops, a range style cooker and open shelving, giving it a relaxed, homely character.

Upstairs, there are two well proportioned bedrooms, each with its own distinct personality, one styled with a bold, playful mural, the other calm and leafy with garden views. The family bathroom completes the floor, with a bath and a window bringing in plenty of light.

The outside space

The rear garden is South-facing, part established and green, part newly laid patio, with room for a table and chairs, pots and planting. At the end of the garden sits a fantastic timber shed, fully fitted out as a home office. Lined and insulated, with power and its own desk space, it's a brilliant addition for anyone working from home, wanting a studio, or simply after a quiet spot away from the house.

Living in Easton

Bloy Street sits in the heart of Easton, one of Bristol's most characterful and community-minded neighbourhoods, prized for its distinctive character, independent spirit and strong sense of community. The nearby St Marks Road is a real draw, home to Bristol Sweet Mart, Garden of Easton and East Bristol Bakery, alongside a wealth of other independent cafes, restaurants and shops popular with locals and visitors alike. Also close by are The Greenbank pub, Este Kitchen and Matter Wholefoods.

Greenbank Cemetery offers a peaceful green space right on the doorstep, while the Bristol to Bath Railway Path is just minutes away, ideal for commuting, running or weekend cycling. The area is well connected to the city centre and beyond by bike, road and train, with the M32 and A431 to Bath both easily accessible. Families are well served too, with a good choice of well regarded local schools nearby, along with Easton Leisure Centre and the wider green spaces of Eastville and St George parks close at hand.
