The home

A beautiful 3-bedroom family home on Bloomfield Road in Brislington. This spacious home has been well loved by the existing family and stylishly decorated throughout. Downstairs the living room and dining room are a large open plan space with a log burner in the front living area and original storage in the dining area, the space also has stripped wood floors throughout. The kitchen at the rear is a great size and has a ply kitchen and cork floors and from here there are doors to the sunny raised garden deck. Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a family bathroom.

Living in Brislington

Situated in a lovely pocket of houses in Brislington, this property is within walking distance of several well-regarded shops, pubs and cafes including Kin, Deli at Sandy Park and The Langton. Paintworks is also just a short walk and is home to Miro Lounge and Coffee Club. Hop Union and Lost & Grounded are nationally renowned Bristol breweries with taprooms, both of which are within walking distance.

The area is popular with young professionals families, being both close to the city centre but also accessible to several parks and larger green areas, such as the Nightingale Valley Nature Reserve, Eastwood Farm and St Annes Wood. Arnos Vale Cemetery is just a short walk away and there are fairly extensive footpaths around the River Avon, which wrap around Brislington through some scenic spots, which includes the popular Beese's Riverside Bar to the east. The area is also home to several good schools, such as Holymead and St Anne's Infants, as well as Out There Forest School and Kindergarten. For commuters, Brislington is well placed, with several buses running through the area, as well as routes for cycling and walking to Bristol City Centre including a traffic free path along the Avon to Bristol Temple Meads.
