My favourite thing about living here has been starting the day with a coffee in the garden. It feels like a little oasis - private, green and surrounded by trees, with the cycle path behind the garden meaning no road noise. The flat is full of character and tucked away from the bustle, but with Easton, Greenbank and St George's Park all on the doorstep, and easy access into the city. It's a rare combination of feeling connected to everything while still having somewhere calm to come home to.

The flat

This is a characterful and spacious one-bedroom garden flat in between Redfield and Easton. It sits on the ground floor of a period terrace and has a garden studio at the back.

The hallway leads to the bedroom, a good-sized double with a green feature wall, bay window & plenty of space for storage. Following on, the large living space has an original fireplace and alcove shelving, with wood flooring running through into the kitchen. The kitchen is bright, with a skylight and white units - it's a great size for a flat, with enough space for a breakfast table & lots of storage.

Living in Redfield

Vicarage Road is a quiet road of terraced homes in between Easton and Whitehall. St George's park is one of the city's most popular parks providing a kids play area, tennis courts, a cafe, a skate park, a lake and most recently the St George's Bowls Social Club. The area has many exciting independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, including the Bristol Loaf/Native Vine, the Red Church, the George & Dragon and the Small City Bookshop. The shops and cafes of Easton are also easily accessible via the Bristol to Bath cycle path - a minute's walk from the flat - including Garden of Easton and Bristol Sweet Mart. There are several well-regarded schools in the area, meaning this is a popular area with families. For commuters, it is a short journey into Bristol City Centre by bus, bike or car, whilst also being just a short drive from Bath and the motorway networks as well. From this side of the City Centre, Bristol Temple Meads is just a short journey away.
