Description

" We love Wick Road. It is a bright and spacious home where we have enjoyed entertaining friends and family. BS4 has a vibrant community and it's been fun to take part in lots of local activities from pottery classes to pilates. We've enjoyed the peace of the garden and going on fun adventures through the woods just opposite with our children."

The house

A great sized mid terrace house in Brislington with a large rear garden, garage and off street parking. Downstairs there is an open plan reception/dining room with stripped wood floors and bay window making this room lovely and bright. At the rear of the property is a kitchen diner, with picture window overlooking the garden. Upstairs are three double bedrooms and the family bathroom and the loft has been converted into a fourth bedroom with plenty of storage.

The outside

The rear garden has been beautifully landscaped into different zoned areas and is one of the biggest in the area. There is a lawn, a paved seating area with pagoda and some lovely flower beds with mature shrubs and trees. There is also a garage, rear access and a parking space.

Living in Brislington

Situated in a lovely pocket of houses in Brislington, this property is within walking distance of several well-regarded shops and cafes including Grounded and Deli at Sandy Park. Paintworks is also just a short walk and is home to Miro Lounge and Alex Does Coffee. Tapestry and Lost & Grounded are nationally renowned Bristol breweries with tap rooms, both of which are within walking distance.

The area is popular with young professionals and families, being both close to the city centre but also accessible to several parks and larger green areas, such as the Nightingale Valley Nature Reserve and St Annes Wood. Arnos Vale Cemetery is just a short walk away and there are fairly extensive footpaths around the River Avon, which wrap around Brislington through some scenic spots, which includes the popular Beese's Riverside Bar to the west. The area is also home to several good schools, such as Holymead and St Annes Infant School. For commuters, Brislington is well placed, with several buses running through the area including the Park & Ride, as well as routes for cycling and walking to Bristol City Centre.
