"We love the well proportioned rooms and high ceilings. The front is not overlooked by another house so on a sunny day, the rooms are flooded with sunlight. We love that we are five minutes from the Leisure Centre and ten from Horfield Common, both have proven super useful with our five year old. The street has a lovely sense of community and supportive WhatsApp group, we will really miss this when we leave."

The home

A Victorian home on Boston Road, styled incredibly well, with pops of colour on display throughout the interior, helping to create an enticing yet contemporary atmosphere. You enter the property into a welcoming hallway with access to both reception rooms and the stairs. To your right is a bright, bay-windowed living room featuring a working wood burner. Notably, there is no property directly in front of the living, helping sun to flood the space from the south facing aspect, throughout the day. Straight ahead from the hallway is the dining room, which leads onto a modest kitchen and a family bathroom. On the first floor, there are three well-proportioned bedrooms, while the top floor offers a lovely double bedroom filled with natural light, complete with an en-suite shower room and a study. Living in Horfield

Boston Road is a quiet residential road in the heart of Horfield and a few minutes from Horfield Common, with lots of open space to enjoy. The street has a lovely sense of community, with a lively WhatsApp group and supportive, helpful neighbours. Bars, family pubs, and restaurants are abundant in this area. The Inn on The Green is the closest pub, which hosts regular beer festivals and offers great food, whilst The Wellington, and The Gloucester Old Spot are equally as nice and close by. Several highly regarded eateries are also close to the property, such as Sabo Brasileiro, Lona, as well as Per & Kor. Many families have been drawn to the area for its highly rated schools including Filton Avenue, Horfield and Ashley Down Road. To the North of Horfield, there are some of Bristol's largest employers, including Rolls Royce, the MOD and Airbus, all within an easy commuting distance by car, bike, or public transport. Buses run frequently along Gloucester Road to all major areas of Bristol, the City Centre, North Bristol, Cribbs Causeway and Bristol Parkway Station. Sports fans have a great selection of events nearby at the Gloucestershire County Cricket Ground which hosts county and international cricket, and the Memorial Stadium which is home to Bristol Rovers. Horfield Leisure Centre, Clifton Downs, and Blaise Castle Estate are regularly used by fitness enthusiasts and dog-walkers alike.
