"Bromley Heath is the place we hoped to live since moving to Bristol in 2012 and it did not disappoint. It has been a fantastic area to live especially with children. The schools are fantastic, the high street has independent shops and cafes, my children love the 'Freakshakes' at the Beehive and my husband and I have the best date nights at Mokka. We are so close to the cycle track which leads to a skate park and children's play area including a tennis court."

The home

The entrance to the property is through a porch on the right-hand side of the house. You enter into a hallway, with a utility room and W/C to the left and the kitchen/diner straight ahead. The kitchen/diner connects to the living room with bi-fold doors to the garden, creating a lovely open space that's perfect for hosting or spending time with family. To the right, there is a large fish pond currently home to Koi, and several mature apple trees add character to the space. A garden shed provides additional storage. At the front of the house there is a large driveway and an integral garage.

Living in Downend

Bromley Heath Road is located in Bromley Heath, Downend, a favourite area for Bristol families. The area has been extremely popular with residents for its quiet, community feel and fantastic local high street amenities as well as accessibility to the rapidly improving Fishponds and Staple Hill High Streets, including Snuffy Jack's micropub and FED. The area hugely benefits from several fantastic green spaces, like Frenchay Common, Oldbury Court Estate, Snuff Mills, Page Park and Stoke Park, all within easy access. For commuters, the area is also very well placed, just a short journey from the City Centre and several major employers in Filton Abbey Wood, Patchway and Aztec West, with several bus and cycle routes available, including the Bristol to Bath path which runs adjacent to the house. The area is also popular with families for having several well-regarded schools in the vicinity, including Bromley Heath Primary and Downend High School.
