Description

" We have loved living at Palmyra Road. It was our first house so will always hold a special place in our family. We've enjoyed putting our own stamp on the place. We reinstated a Victorian style fireplace in the living room, a real focal point, and also very cozy in the winter. We replaced the avocado bathroom downstairs and made a versatile utility room, which has been invaluable for storing muddy outdoor kit over the years. We've made the most of the generous back garden; alfresco dining, barbecues, even moving our ping pong table outside during the summer!
You can't beat the location; easy walking distance to north street and all the amenities. We will miss Tobacco Factory theatre an awful lot ! Its well placed to get out of the city to the South and within easy reach of some wonderful green spaces."

The house

A great mid terrace Victorian House in Bedminster with a generous rear garden. Downstairs there is an open plan living room/dining room with bay window to the front and door to the rear garden at the back. The the rear of the house is a generous galley kitchen with dark units and solid wood tops and this room leads to a utility room/shower room. Upstairs are two double bedrooms, the family bathroom and a single bedroom.

The outside

The rear garden is a great size for the area with patio area, large lawn and plenty of mature shrubs and tree's.

Living in Bedminster

Palmyra Road is a residential street between West Street and Duckmoor Road in Bedminster. The house lies close to North Street, a hub for local independents, restaurants, and shops, including Michelin recommended COR and OTHER, coffee shops Sweven and Burra, and The Tobacco Factory - a caf?, bar, and theatre that hosts a bustling Sunday market.

Several parks surround Palmyra Road, with South Street Park a few streets away and the larger Greville Smyth Park a 10 minute walk away. Just beyond Greville Smyth (a further 20 minutes) is the sprawling Ashton Court Estate - home to the annual Bristol Balloon Fiesta and 850 acres of wood and grassland.
