"We have loved our time on Calcott Road, it has a welcoming, relaxed feel about the place, we've cultivated a broad versatility in how the house works because we are interested in adaptable spaces. From the original top room on the second floor to the back kitchen pantry the house is full of light, space, design and has seen family life, home working , and has been great for having people over and convivial living in the years we have been here. Our spacious front room is cosy, with a wood burner, the kitchen diner opens onto a large, patio and on to a well-stocked garden including roses, hydrangeas and honey-suckle. There is an interactive space between our garage, side gate, the lane and our neighbours, when our children were little, it was an extension of the house/garden. There is an active, helpful what's app group on hand to lend/help/socialize in the street and it is a lovely community where we have friends. And it has been the best of places to raise our family."
