"It's such a friendly open community. We feel close to our neighbours and often find ourselves stopping to chat to neighbours or friends on the short walk to the nursery drop off. We love being within walking distance to the Harbourside and North street which are areas we enjoy spending time. We brought both our babies home to this house and Southville has been the perfect location to spend those early years with the kids."

Living in Southville

Beauley Road is a residential street in the heart of Southville. The house lies close to North Street, a hub for local independents, restaurants, and shops, including Michelin-recommended COR and OTHER, coffee shops Sweven and Burra, and The Tobacco Factory - a caf, bar, and theatre that hosts a bustling Sunday market.

A short stroll across Gaol Ferry Bridge (5 minutes) will take you to Wapping Wharf - a foodie destination set on the edge of Bristol's historic Harbourside. Serving from converted cargo containers, you'll find top Bristol independents including Gambas, Cargo Cantina, and Lapin. The city centre is a further 15 minutes on foot.

Southville is also known for its excellent school catchment area, with North Street Nursery, Magic Roundabout Nursery, Southville Primary, and Ashton Gate Primary all within walking distance of the house.

Several parks are within easy reach of Beauley Road, with Greville Smyth Park a 15-minute walk away and the sprawling Ashton Court Estate a further 20 minutes beyond - an expansive 850 acres of woodland and grassland that is home to the annual Bristol Balloon Fiesta.
