Sturmy Close is a quiet, tucked away road in a popular pocket of Brentry, with residents making up the only traffic on the road. The area is popular for its accessibility by car, bike or public transport. Brentry is just a short drive from Cribbs Causeway and Junction 17 of the M5, yet is very much a part of the city of Bristol, with great links into the centre. Brentry is close to a number of Bristol's largest employers including Southmead Hospital, Airbus and the MOD. The shops and amenities of Horfield and Westbury-on-Trym are nearby whilst Filton Golf Course and Blaise Castle give the area a very green surrounding. The proximity of Blaise Castle and other outdoor nearby attractions such as AirHop, Bristol Activity Centre and the Wild Place Project means there is plenty to do in the nearby area for local residents. This is an area very popular with families due, in part, to the success of nearby Brentry Primary School and Bristol Free School.
