Description

Set within this contemporary development situated on the corner of Packington Street and Prebend Street , this smartly laid-out one-bedroom apartment sits on the first floor and offers a calm, sunlit retreat in the middle of vibrant Islington. The interior is open and inviting, with a combined kitchen and living area that makes excellent use of space and light. Full-height windows let in plenty of sunshine, and the living space opens out to a private balcony — a great spot for evening downtime or morning coffee.

The bedroom is a comfortable size and benefits from built-in wardrobes and large windows that make the room feel bright and spacious. The bathroom is clean-lined and modern, with quality fittings and discreet storage. Practical touches like a secure video entry system, lift access, and well-kept shared areas add to the appeal.

The immediate area is rich with independent shops, cafes, and some of the area’s most popular eateries including the much-loved Pophams bakery just across the road. Upper Street and Essex Road are just a short stroll away, offering an array of restaurants, boutiques, and lively bars. For those who enjoy green spaces and weekend walks, Regent’s Canal and Shoreditch Park are also close by.

Owners insights:

What do you love about your home?

What I love most about my home is how rare it is to find a one-bedroom that feels this light and spacious. From the moment I walked in, it exceeded all my expectations. The floor-to-ceiling windows throughout fill the space with natural light, and the front door opens directly onto a beautiful courtyard—it's such a peaceful welcome home.

The bedroom overlooks the internal courtyard, making it incredibly quiet and serene—perfect for unwinding. From the balcony, I can even see the queue at Pophams, which is ideal for getting there before the rush!

Everything inside is modern, clean, and fresh.

Why are you selling?

I have had 6 wonderful years in the apartment and it has been everything I have needed. I am now starting a new adventure abroad so no longer need it.

What do you love about the area?

I love the location—just five minutes from the canal and five minutes from Upper Street, yet tucked away on a calm, residential street. It truly feels like the best of both worlds.
