Description

" We've loved every minute of living in our lovely 1930s house. We've particularly enjoyed spending time in our spacious, light and airy kitchen, looking out to the beautiful magnolia when it blooms in the Spring. Having two young children, it's perfect that we are near some great schools and three excellent parks-Redcatch, Perretts and Victoria. Our neighbours are great and all look out for each other - we've made some firm friends for life! "

The home

A beautifully extended three bedroom 1930's house close to Victoria Park. Downstairs there is a separate reception room to the front with period fireplace and bay window. The rear of the house has been opened up to create a wonderful open plan kitchen/diner/family space with a log burner in the snug and large glass sliding doors leading to a raised deck. There is also a downstairs WC/Utility space. Upstairs are three bedrooms and the family bathroom.

The outside

There is a sunny raised deck directly accessed from the kitchen and then stairs to a lawned area. There is also a double garage accessed by a rear lane.

Living in Victoria Park

Sylvia Avenue is a residential street in Victoria Park, with sweeping views across Bristol and the surrounding countryside. Within a 5 minute walk from the house you'll find Corner Stores coffee shop by Fox & West, The Victoria Park pub, the Rising Sun, and Windmill Hill Community Centre. Close by are two local primary schools, both rated Ofsted 'good' and well thought of locally; Victoria Park and St Mary Redcliffe, which is located in the park.

Head into neighbouring Bedminster's and you'll hit East Street, with more indie stores and coffee shops including The Bristol Loaf, Southville Deli, Boona Boona Coffee Roasters and Pinkmans. You'll also find plenty of restaurants and bars, including Bombil, Alpha Bottle Shop, and Michelin-recommended OTHER just around the corner on Cannon Street.

Bedminster train station is a short walk away, and takes you directly to Bristol Temple Meads where you can connect to Bath Spa (11 minutes) and London Paddington (1 hour 35 minutes). A cycle or walk is also an option to reach Bristol Temple Meads from this location.
