Lilymead Avenue, Knowle

"Lilymead is an amazing community, a real neighbourhood, everyone knows each other and cares. The views across Bristol and out towards Ashton Court are unmatched, in summer we get the most stunning sunsets and soak up the last bit of sun in Perrets Park. With bruhaha and Smokebox less than 5 mins away we had plenty of evening spots but our home has mainly been the perfect nest to start our family."

The home

A beautifully presented and spacious garden flat set on the always popular Lilymead Avenue. There is a large reception room to the front with bay window, stripped wood floors and Victorian fireplace. Behind this sits the smaller of the two bedrooms but still good for a double bed and at the rear is the kitchen/diner which leads to a utility room and modern bathroom. The master bedroom has a bay window overlooking the rear garden and fitted wardrobes.

The outside

The rear garden is a great size and has a lawn and some beautiful shrubs and trees.

Living in Knowle

Lilymead Avenue is a quiet tree-lined avenue of substantial and attractive period homes in the popular suburb of Knowle. The road is flanked on one end by Perretts Park, at the other, there is the rapidly developing Wells Road, home to several popular independent shops and eateries. The house is just minutes from the popular Bruhaha tap room, Fox and West Deli, Bank and Smokebox, to name a few. Knowle is an extremely popular family area, with a brilliant combination of large houses, good schools and a choice of great parks. Hillcrest Primary School is just a short walk away and is very well-regarded locally.

Lilymead Avenue is also just a short walk away from Arnos Vale Cemetery, Redcatch Park with its community garden and Victoria Park, both offering a great escape from the city and open green spaces. For commuters, the area is very well placed, with Temple Meads and the several major employers around Temple Quay and the city centre just around fifteen minutes away on foot. Bristol's scenic harbourside and city centre are also within walking distance, along with the independent shops, bars and cafes of North Street in Bedminster.
