The home

Located on Spike Island is this south facing, river front one bedroom apartment built to a high specification throughout. The living space is open plan with the kitchen featuring integrated white goods and a quartz worktop, this flows into the large dining / lounge area which is light and bright due to the south facing aspect. Through this room you can access the balcony which spans the width of the flat. Off the hallway you have the spacious three-piece bathroom suite and the bedroom which has integrated storage and the balcony can also be accessed through this room too. Additional extras include video intercom to buzz people in, lift access, a Nest thermostat which doesn't have to be used often because the flat is so well insulated and shelving built into the utility cupboard for additional storage. Living in Spike Island

Located on Spike Island and near the popular Wapping Wharf, this area is now home to several impressive newly built homes, trendy bars and boutique shops, largely occupied for local independent businesses. Directly across the harbour is Bristol's historic Old City, offering easy access should you want to go for a walk around Queens Square, grab a bite to eat at St Nicholas Market, or a quick drink on King Street. Across the river to the south of the City Centre is the Southville and Bedminster area, which offers a range of popular eateries, bars and shops. For commuters, the area is ideal with several major employers on the doorstep, including Lloyds Bank and Hargreaves Lansdown who are based on the Harbourside along with several major law firms around Redcliffe and Temple Quay. Access out of the city from this area is straightforward with buses running frequently along the adjacent Cumberland Road to Bristol Airport and the nearby A4 and M32 providing access to the M5 and M4 respectively. One of the key selling points is that it is only a short 15-minute walk to Temple Meads which is ideal for those looking to commute out of the City or escape for a weekend away. For those looking for quiet walks, there are pleasant routes around the Harbourside but the nearby Ashton Court and Victoria Park also provide expansive green space for running, dog walking and off-road cycling.
