Description
"We really enjoy the community vibe, from the street party's to the community garden and recently opened community centre, makes it really feel like a nice area to live in. Our morning walk to school and childcare with the kids is ideal, just long enough to get them out on their bikes, having all we need on our doorstep is super helpful."
The home
A contemporary and thoughtfully styled period home on Forest Avenue in Fishponds, offering a large driveway, spacious kitchen/dining area and two reception rooms. Entrance to the interior is on the right side of the property, entering into a hallway with a W.C on your immediate right. On the first left is the sumptuous living room, boasting a bay window, wood burner, original floorboards underfoot, bold decoration and a useful storage cupboard. On the other side of the staircase is the second reception room, mirroring much of the detail and quality of the living room. The room features an exposed brick chimney breast, second wood burner and patio doors to the garden. An opening leads to the neutrally decorated kitchen/dining area, with great natural light and access to the garden. Heading to the first floor, the primary bedroom sits at the front, with good floor space and picture rails. Adjacent is the family bathroom, with a walk-in-shower and freestanding bathtub. The interior is then completed by two further double bedrooms, both used as children's bedrooms.
The outside space
The plot begins with a small front garden and long driveway, fit for three/four vehicles. At the end of the driveway is a single garage, with access to and from the garden. The garden can also be accessed from the dining room and kitchen, beginning with a large patio area. The aspect is south facing, slightly to the west and captures high levels of sun throughout the day. A lawn follows the patio area, and a large tree behind the fence-line drastically improves the privacy.
