Description

Brickworks says

Tucked into a handsome double-fronted building on a no-through street just steps from Finsbury Park, this flat feels immediately calm and characterful. The balance here is spot on; period leanings like the smart sash windows but with a contemporary sensibility that doesn’t try too hard. Being on the first floor brings a little extra perspective too — brighter rooms, longer views and a pleasing sense of separation from the street.

The second bedroom works perfectly as a home office that can moonlight as a guest room when needed. But the real delight is out back: a decked, south-west facing terrace just off the kitchen. It’s the sort of space that earns its keep — morning coffee, evening wine or popping out mid-recipe for herbs. A rare pocket of outdoor calm for N4, and arguably the flat’s best party trick.

Step outside and London opens up. Green space is quite literally at the end of the road, while Brewed is nearby for killer coffee, The Plimsoll’s got you for gourmet burgers, and Baban's Naans is your hole-in-the-wall for fresh naan. With Finsbury Park and Manor House stations close by, getting around is straightforward too.

The owners say

We first viewed this flat on a hot summer's day and were greeted by the large, cool living room with high ceilings, then walked through the kitchen onto the south-west facing terrace with a quiet, green outlook and knew we would be happy here. Looking out onto trees from the bedroom and being able to have morning coffees, evening meals and drinks on the sunny terrace, have made this flat a joy to live in.

We've particularly enjoyed the outside space, gardening and hosting family and friends. We will certainly miss being so close to the West Reservoir for swimming, Clissold Park for walks, and Stoke Newington for food and drinks.
