IF YOU LIVED HERE...
Step through the front door and you’ll find a warm, inviting home with plenty of personality. The reception room is a lovely introduction, with soft neutral walls, a rich-toned sofa and thoughtfully chosen artwork creating a relaxed atmosphere. Built-in shelving adds character and practicality, while the staircase gives the space a distinctive feel. Beyond, the dining area offers a natural spot for gathering around the table, with wooden flooring and plenty of daylight. The kitchen is finished in crisp white cabinetry, with open shelving, sleek worktops and a glazed door opening onto the garden.
Outside, the private rear garden is a wonderful extension of the living space, with a timber deck providing room for outdoor dining and a stretch of artificial lawn beyond. It’s easy to imagine long summer afternoons here, with friends around the table and the doors open to the house. The property is presented in good decorative order throughout, with a thoughtful mix of original character and more contemporary finishes.
Upstairs, you’ll find three bedrooms, each with its own personality. The main bedroom is a particularly restful space, with warm yellow walls, built-in storage and shelving. Another room has a playful contrast of white walls and a deep blue ceiling, offering flexibility for a home office or guest space. The bathroom has a fresh, contemporary finish, with white tiling, patterned flooring, black fittings and a walk-in shower. As a freehold Victorian home, there’s also potential to extend, subject to the necessary planning permissions.

A WORD FROM THE OWNER...
"We’ve loved living in Forest Gate, and it’s been amazing watching the area evolve, there always seems to be a new café or restaurant to try. Being so close to Wanstead Flats has been a real highlight; within a five minute walk you feel like you’ve escaped into the countryside.
Joyau and Wild Goose Bakery are just around the corner, and the record fair at The Forest Tavern has become one our favourite weekend activities. Coming from Hackney, we were spoilt for choice with fitness options, so it’s been great to find brilliant local spots here too, with our personal favourites being The Reformery for Pilates and The Gym Factory.
We’re confident Forest Gate will continue to thrive, and we’re excited for the next people who call this place home."
