"We've absolutely loved living here. Being able to walk everywhere and discover the endless new cafes, bars and restaurants that pop up nearby has meant there's little room to get bored and friends love to stay! We'll take many fond memories with us - reading on our daybed in the summer sun, bumping into neighbours on a Sunday night in Mela, strolling Montpelier's colourful streets, and being the friends in the group that can host BBQs and link the TV to the garden during the Euros!"

The home

A beautifully polished, chic and stylish hall floor flat with a super private garden and private front door. The vibe ties in perfectly with the local area and the owners have created a tranquil home in one of the quietest spots in the heart of Montpelier. The front door opens onto broad entrance hall, with Karndean flooring and pretty wood paneling the sense of space and quality is immediate . The lounge has is front facing making it light in the morning, with a handsome fireplace it's a great chillout spot for coffee in the morning or a glass of something stronger in the evening. Both bedrooms are excellent doubles, with new carpets and a peaceful colour palate. The re-modelled kitchen looks out to the garden and is cleverly designed with loads of storage, shelving and worktop area. The bathroom has been redesigned to house a super handy utility cupboard with washing machine, as well as a full sized bath and classic tiled finish.

This wonderful private rear garden catches the afternoon and evening sun and provides the perfect space for enjoying the Summer in peace and quiet or hosting barbecues for friends.

Living in Montpelier

Upper Cheltenham Place runs East/West through the heart of Montpelier but enjoys being one of the quietest roads in the area. Residents benefit from being within immediate reach of the colourful, independent shops that make this part of Bristol so popular, with coffee shops and eateries such as The Bristolian, Bianchis, Wangs, Caf Kino and The Crafty Egg all within easy walking distance, whilst local pubs such as The Cadbury, The Old England, and The Star and Garter also come highly recommended, amongst many more.

For commuters, Montpelier is extremely well-placed for a short walk or cycle into Bristol City Centre. Buses run frequently along the A38, and train transport is available across the city and to Bristol Temple Meads via nearby Montpelier train station. Bristol Central Coach Station is only a short walk from the house, with regular coaches around the country, and round-the-clock access to Bristol Airport for those with more international aspirations. For those seeking access to nearby green spaces, the house is just a short walk from St Andrews Park and the Narroways Nature Reserve in St Werburghs, whilst getting out to the countryside via the nearby M32 or Temple Meads train station is also straightforward.
