"Upper Sandhurst Road has been our home for the last 9 years. Whilst there we have become a family of four and made many happy memories. We have absolutely loved living in the area and expanded our home to suit our growing family. Surrounded by lots of green spaces, brilliant primary schools and the ever-expanding independent shops and cafes that are on Sandy Park Road, it is a perfect place to have young children and a dog! In summer we would take the dog to the nature reserve after school and feed the friendly ponies at the farm, then head back to our road and get an ice cream from the award-winning ice cream shop at the bottom.
I will miss our wonderful neighbours and being able to pop to the Deli and Greengrocers on Sandy park Road to get delicious things to eat!"

The home

A beautifully extended mid-terrace house which offer generous living space and a great sized garden. Downstairs there is a reception room to the front with bay window and log burner. The kitchen has been remodeled into the middle of the house meaning the extended rear is home to a great sized dining room/family room with glass sliding doors to the garden. Onto the first floor are three bedrooms (two doubles and a small single) and the family bathroom and the loft has been converted into a wonderful master bedroom with ensuite shower room and plenty of eaves storage.

The rear garden has a raised deck directly from the house with plenty of space for casual seating and outdoor dining leading to a patio area. There is a large lawn and numerous mature shrubs and trees.

Living in Brislington

Situated in a lovely pocket of houses in Brislington, this property is within walking distance of several well-regarded shops and cafes including Kin and Deli at Sandy Park. Paintworks is also just a short walk and is home to Miro Lounge and Coffee Club. Hop Union and Lost & Grounded are nationally renowned Bristol breweries with tap rooms, both of which are within walking distance.

The area is popular with young professionals families, being both close to the city centre but also accessible to several parks and larger green areas, such as the Nightingale Valley Nature Reserve and St Annes Wood. Arnos Vale Cemetery is just a short walk away and there are fairly extensive footpaths around the River Avon, which wrap around Brislington through some scenic spots, which includes the popular Beese's Riverside Bar to the east. The area is also home to several good schools, such as Holymead and Broomhill Primary. For commuters, Brislington is well placed, with several buses running through the area including the Park & Ride, as well as routes for cycling and walking to Bristol City Centre.
