"I've loved living on Arley Hill the past three years. There are so many great restaurants, cafes and bars within an easy walk, yet it's somehow quiet and the back garden has been a peaceful retreat from the bustle of the area. Some of my favourite spots to eat are Bokman and Caper and Cure. The Hillgrove is a wonderful pub and there's always live music The Canteen and Gallimaufry, all of these within a few minutes' walk. The community is lovely, with an active what's app group for the street."

The area is comprised of beautiful grand Gothic buildings in amongst both Georgian Bath Stone and Victorian houses and many tree-lined roads, with parks and green spaces, perfect on summer days, such as the green at Redland Church or the University Gardens on St Michael's Hill. The area is highly convenient being placed in between several hugely popular parts of Bristol. The bottom of Arley Hill comes out onto Cheltenham Road which then turns into Gloucester Road running through the suburbs of St Andrews, Bishopston and Horfield. Gloucester Road is widely noted for its long stretches of independent shops and by many is considered one of the best places to visit in the City.
